Kristò is a particular chair.
It shows itself as a cube, but it can ashonish you.
First of all Kristò is a chair which can rotate thanks to an easy system of handles; secondly it offers to you different chair seats for every sides; it means you can find an armchaire, a stool or a conortable chaise-longue everytime you rotate it. But aboveall, it hides these chair seats because Kristò is wrapped up by an elastic blue fabric so that people are marvelled when they sit on it.
The name of this project concerns to Christo because of his feature of packed monumental places or natural sites with a fabric.
I’ve done this project with Federica Carta and Massimiliano Pinna.
Van Gogh’s Room
This is my first approach with the product design.
This famous picture rapresents the main suggestion of the project. I’ve studied the author, the context in which he lives and in particular his artwork, in order to understand better some significant details.
Here I’ve studied the sizes of the room concidering the “wrong perspective” and making some hypothesis. So I’ve made the first model in scale 1:50 in thin cardboard.
Finally I’ve imagined a further space which I have to organized. For this reason I’ve designed a chair, firstly, and after that the bookcase keeping the same logic: vertical and horizontal sheets which intersect themselves.
